Salsa Night Fever: Saturday Party
Come down, drink and have a dance! It's the most popular Salsa & Latin Dance event in Christchurch. Anyone can come, this night is for everybody at all levels, dancers and non-dancers. It's Not just Salsa either, there is all styles which include, Cha, Bachata, Merengue & Kizomba. Social Latin Dance Party:
DJ Reuben from Salsa Latina - Playing best Latin mixes around, with 2 decades of experience in organising these kinds of events. In-fact One of the few in New Zealand who has been running regular non-stop events since 2003 for the Latin dance scene in Christchurch.
The ratio of dance styles like Salsa, Bachata, Merengue & Kizomba played will be based on who is dancing at the event, it's not a strict formula.

★ BYO Drinks welcome (bring your own cup/glass) Yes you may bring your own Alcohol to the party

★ Doors Open: 8:15pm for Workshop Nights & 9:00pm for Showcase Nights

*Workshop & Party Night
Dance classes for Intermediate dancers on regular party nights, starting from 8:30pm, these will alternate between
Salsa & Bachata. These Special pre-party classes will have non-syllabus content just like normal workshop, Gradings or assessments are required to join - beginners are welcome to watch only. ..Find out the details here >

★ Doors Open from 8:15pm (15mins practice time before class)
★ Grading or Assessment recommended

★ Performance Showcase Set#1 start from 9:30pm

FAQ's:
• Any Beginner Dance Classes?
Not for beginners on Saturdays at this point in time, but we do recommend joining our Free beginner classes during the week at Salsa Latina. If you can't join our beginner courses, do consider Private lessons to get to Intermediate.​ You are also welcome to come watch the class prior to the party.

• Why are some events missing?

• I'm a beginner dancer, should I come to the party?
Absolutely!.. it's the fastest way to learn when mixing social dancing with regular Salsa & Bachata classes you'll learn up 10 times faster. It's like practice on steroids!

• Bring my own Drinks?
Yes, for the party only - BYO alcohol welcome, but do bring your own glasses & please throw away your own trash to help keep this a free event.

• Drinks Available?
Drinks inc water are available for purchase from reception - Cash / Paywave accepted (when someone present)
Generally this is a BYO Bring-Your-Own drinks night, no Alcohol available for purchase, this is BYO only.

• Can I bring my friends?
Yes everyone is welcome including non-dancers.
• Is it a Latin Night or a Salsa Night?
This is a Partner dance based Salsa Latin Night not a Reggaeton Latin Night .... Find out the difference >

• How come the party is Free?
We do this to support & grow the Salsa & Bachata community in Christchurch and New Zealand, our dance Classes help offset the cost of running this Latin Dance Event. So please do support our dance school & Salsa Classes, & Bachata Classes.
